(Day 2) My first Ever "TwinHike"

+ Nobyembre 7, 2014 +
Montalban / Brgy. San Rafael Rodriguez Rizal

Mt. Binacayan

Isa lang ang masasabi ko kagabi , ang Ginawwww!! I did not expect the cold air like that,   di tuloy ako nakatulog ng maayos, so again if it's BER month and  your planning to visit the place don't forget to bring your jacket. =(

There, after an hour of refreshnet sa river, we went back to Sir Emmanuel place , to eat and prepared our selves for the climb, and at 9am something we start our feet to walk and here we go to Mt. Binacayan.

So, ang sabi ni Sir Eman mag ta-Travers kami start from the sementong daan sa Taas-Torres Subdivision going down to the other side of the mountain to Sitio Sabangan,
(well tawag palang sa lugar alam mo ng pataas ito) and first part palang ng lakaran full ascent na po, It's somehow like Mt. Sembrano.

part of the trail is steeper and very dangerous because of the big rocks ahead, be more extra careful po”

Sa 2nd part ng trail ay masukal at madaming tanglad, wala pang clear route sa trail na ito , sabi nga ni Sir Eman pangalawa palang daw kaming mountaineer na dumaan at nagtangkang umakyat sa Mt.Binacayan, so make sure to bring arm/leg warmer and hand gloves for skin protection. hehe

After ng isang oras, masukal parin ang daan, haha buti nalang my head dress
ako, daming dahon anywhere..

and hey look what’s Sir Eman found?

” a piece of metal!! and we believed that this is part of the Japanese Military Old Caliber Ammo Can ” that was use way back World War II, asteeg !!!

( history from Wikipedia)
Rodriguez was founded in World War II. Japanese pilots bombed Montalban
(now. Rodriguez) in December 1941. The Japanese soldiers occupied Montalban (now. Rodriguez), Rizal in 1942.

As we continue walking a scene of clear sky and amazing huge rock formation welcome us , so I felt that we are almost to the top.

This is one of the scariest part, were  you need to hug the big rock for you not to fell down.

from clear scene we are  now entering the bamboo trail again

This is it,  after 2 hours of rock climbing and trekking, here we are!!

summit!!

Beautiful 360 view of Mountain Ranges, including Mt. Pamitinan and Mt.Haponang Baboy (N) , Mt. Ayaas (NE) Mt. Parawagan (W) and from afar Mt. Balabag  and Mt. Arayat (NW) and MORe!!!

You will feel the breeze from Wawa Damn going up to the summit and it is so relaxing ,
lakas ng hangin tsong!

Surprisingly! Kuya Eman told and shown us a small cave under the summit, I got so excited when he said that, so I and Marx immediately climb down and did a bit of spelunking , ahaha ..
we also decided to stay there to eat and take some rest, since it is so hot at the summit ..

As I observe here at the Summit Cave ( as I named it! ) ahaha , mountaineers can sleep and stay at night , as long as you bring sleeping bag, enough drinking water and flashlight.. tent is not possible..

You know this is way far to my expectation, well I never expect that  Mt.Binacayan has a lot to show!! waaah...

 ++ cave video ++

We climb up again for our last shot!

>> Then at 1:00pm we decent back on a different route .. and yeah  we almost got lost
ahaha..

Along the way down Kuya Eman shown us another accesible cave were he said  that we can actually look inside and tour us, but hey! this is not just a cave that is look like Pmitinan cave, this a cave were you need to do spelunking moves because the entrance is to small ahaha..  to bad/sad feeling because we don't have our flashlight with us., ahah sabi ko nga kay Sir Eman, ("ay si kuya di naman sinabi kasi ,, sayang")  ahahaha

++ video ++

Sorry pala, I dont have a lot of picture going down because we want to get back as fast as we can I don't know why?  siguro nahirapan ako dami kasing slide ahaha!!

At 3pm were finally at Sitio Sabangan and my feet was exhausted already
maybe because of the trail going down, hay you can never expect talaga kung anong meron sa bundok, ahahah

Sitio Sabangan Jump-Off

So we just put our things at the tent then straight to the small river falls again near to Sir Eman place to refresh our selves tapos kumain at nag paalam na.. ahahaha

At 9pm were back to Pasay'

ANYWAYS.. "Sobrang nag Enjoy ako, kasi yung pakiramdam na nag E-exlore ka sa ibat ibang lugar na di mo alam kung anong meron dito, yung achivement sa sarili mo because you accepted the challenge with faith and trust specially your reward to know new places like Brgy.San Rafael Montalban Rizal with a lot of adventure to share."

SALAMAT PILIPINAS.
